1. __________________ is always ________________.

Living on the Texas Gulf Coast is always an adventure.  Between the hurricanes, floods at the same time as droughts, tornadoes, scorching heat, and heck freezing over, bootie shorts and fur parkas on the same day, Texas always leaves you guessing what’s going to happen next.  Whatever you plan for, you’ll get the other.  If the weather app says full sun, take that umbrella with you. You’ll likely need it.

Most of all, Texas is always beautiful in the springtime. The wildflowers are here. 🙂

2. Did you ____________?

Did you attend college straight out of high school, or did you do a gap year (or 10)?

3. I know _________ all too well.

I know fear of losing David and poverty all too well.   I’m not afraid of poverty.  Been there, done that, got the t-shirt many times over. Heavenly Father has always taken care of us.   I am terrified of losing David.  I know when that time comes, Heavenly Father will get me through that, too.  Heavenly Father won’t abandon me, but the thought of losing him, that lost in the woods feeling, scares me more than I can express.

4. I can’t explain _________.

I can’t explain nuclear physics or calculus, but I can explain the inheritance patterns of the X-chromosome, the Y-chromosome, and mtDNA.

I’ve created a journal with an adorable kitty on the cover. Please check it out on Amazon. Kitty Journal . There’s also a garden journal, with pretty purple flowers on the cover, in honor of my recently deceased mother-in-love. These are affiliate links.

Have a blessed weekend, y’all!
