Thank you all for continued prayers for David. We appreciate them very much.

Please be sure to visit him over at Random Thoughts and Observations.

Here are the fill-ins:

  1. If I were a dog, my breed would be _______________.
  1. If I came with a warning label, it would say the following: _________.
  1. I would want to take _________ with me to a deserted island.

Here are my responses:

A past event that I would like to see in person is my immigrant ancestors leaving their countries of origin. I would want to experience their raw emotions, what went into their decisions to leave their homes. Many set off to a new world and never saw that homeland again, or the family they left behind. I want to know their stories.

If I were a dog, my breed would be Germahuahua – a German Shepherd/Chihuahua blend. Both are feisty critters that will do what they can to defend their folks. And, chihuahuas are yappy and I’m pretty good at being yappy sometimes myself.

If I came with a warning label, it would say the following: That red hair is no lie!

Well, it isn’t so red anymore, but the rest still rings true. 🙂

I would want to take David (and our kids) with me to a deserted island. And books and a camera, of course. What good is a deserted island without books and cameras?

I love your answer to the first question. What a great answer.

The pups are cute and that adorable kitty looks like it’s chewing on that pups ear.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. ♥

The dog looks like he is long suffering, but will put up with it to keep the kitten happy.

Your ancestors must be very strong people. Leaving everything behind, knowing you will probably not see the people you love again must be hard.
A mix between a Chihuahua and a German Shepherd must be interesting. Our Sam is part Belgian Shepherd, and he protects us fiercely.

    • I can’t imagine how strong they must have been to endure all that they endured. I know how it felt for me moving to Texas from South Carolina. Even though I originally wanted the move, it was very hard leaving behind the only place I’d ever known, knowing I would probably never be able to return. Health and finances have pretty well sealed that fate. And, I’m still on the same continent as home…they had to cross that huge, dangerous ocean, far greater than the thousand miles that we traveled.

I think it would be an interesting breed, but cannot imagine how it would look. Laynie tells me the German Shepherd would have to be the mama dog, though, otherwise mama and pups would die.

I bet your Sam is absolutely beautiful!

I hope that you’re doing well. Have a blessed weekend!

From my own experience I know moving to another place changes us forever, even if we are able to go back for a visit, and I didn’t move that far away.
Sam is very pretty indeed, and he has a very graceful way to move.

        • Somehow we get through it, though. I don’t really have homesickness anymore. I think that has been aided by knowing that my life back “home” was all a lie. Now, I have those feelings to work through. Speaking of which, I will be posting an update soon about that situation. I’m getting closer to knowing who I am!

Please give Sam an ear rub for me. 🙂 Have a blessed weekend, Viola.

            Sam will like that!
It took me some time to get used to living on the countryside, but now I am enjoying it, and it’s a good thing to do start over once in a lifetime. It helps to become independent and stronger.
I am looking forward to your update!

Yappy, lol. 😀 People always seem to think that introverts are so quiet, but we can be some of the yappiest people on the planet when we’re with people we are comfortable being around!
