Friday_Fill-In_BadgeHere are the fill-ins:

I don’t understand why ______________ is so popular.

My in case of emergency person is_________________.

There is so much _________________________________!

I would be lost without ___________________________.

Here are my responses:

I don’t understand why being mean to others is so popular.

My “in case of emergency” (ICE) person is David. I also have our children coded as such in my phone in case something happens. This way, the emergency responder will know my relationship to the person they are calling. Our children are marked “daughter” or “son”, whichever is the case, along with their names. “Husband” is beside David’s name. Our mothers are marked Mama and Mama-David’s. The other folks in my phone are just listed by their names, no relationship listed.

There is so much pollen “out there” right now that I can’t walk out the door without sneezing my head off. My poor Zoomie is yellow-green instead of red. It is absolutely everywhere!

I would be lost without Jesus. Thanks to Him, I am found.

Have a blessed day, y’all!

  2. Suzanne, Great fill-in responses. I’m not participating this month while I do the A2Z challenge(today’s edition). That keeps me busy enough. lol I, especially loved your last answer. I’d be lost without Jesus, too. I’m glad He found “Just As I Am” the day I kneeled before “The Old Rugged Cross” where I found “Victory in Jesus”! Thanks for the testament of your love and faith in Christ.

    • Thank you, Cathy.
I’m trying to do several challenges at once (some off-line, too) and seem to be dropping the ball all around. I need to be better at telling myself “no” like you are. 🙂
Those are great songs that you have listed and I have fond memories of them from my time in church as a young girl. “The Old Rugged Cross” was always my favorite. At our church, the music director asked for requests. Every week, without fail, I always requested “The Old Rugged Cross” and, as far as I remember, he always had us sing it. I love that song to this day.
Thank you for your willingness to share your love for Him, too, my sis in Christ. 🙂 Have a blessed day!

  3. Love your fill-ins. Here are my answers: I don’t understand why reality shows are so popular.

My in case of emergency person is My husband John, or if he’s with me, out daughter.

There is so much hatred in the world right now.

I would be lost without my faith and my family.

  4. Your #1… If we all could just be kind. Good Morning! I have fallen behind on comments… too much going on in real life. Enjoy your Saturday!

    • It would be great if everyone would be kind to each other. I’ve seen instances of grown people, alleged adults, picking on other people about this or that. If grown-ups are doing it, how can we ever hope for children to learn to treat people kindly?
No worries. I’m always behind. 🙂
      Have a blessed weekend!
