Thank you all for continued prayers for David. We appreciate them very much.

Please pray for our co-host Ellen.  Her kitty Noel crossed over the Bridge this week.  We all know how sad it is to say good-bye. {{{Hugs Ellen}}}

Here are the fill-ins:

Here are my responses:

I think it would be fun to go skydiving.

I have a hankering for a steak and fries right now.

My daddy carrying me into the ocean when my toe was broken and I couldn’t safely go in on my own is a memory I will never forget. I was 7 years old. He didn’t want me to miss the experience the other kids were having. It was in Virginia.

If I were given the choice to be immortal, I would…live forever. 🙂 I don’t know how to answer this one. Mortality is a big thought around here for me lately. My mother’s oldest sister died Tuesday. Her oldest brother died on August 21. Her baby sister died May 2018. Her second oldest sister died October 2018. The Reaper has had a field day with her family the last 16 months. This leaves her as the last surviving member of her sibling group and she will be 76 on her next birthday. That is the age her mother, her mother’s sister and her maternal grandparents were when they passed away. It can’t help but be on her mind. It is definitely on mine.

  1. Yes to skydiving! I’ve always wanted to do it, but where I live, this activity is not offered. A blessed weekend to you and yours.

    No on the skydiving. That’s a frightful thing to think about. Okay, I’m terrified of heights.

    The circle of life is something else isn’t it. I think about it too, but one does when you’re looking at 70.

    Aw on the kitty. Such a good looking poser.

    Prayers for you and David.

    Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

    Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. ♥

  3. What a wonderful memory of your dad.
    It must be very difficult for your mother to have outlived so many family members and to be so lonely now.
    Prayers continued for both of you.
    Have a blessed week!
