Here are the fill-ins:

  1. I joined _______________ in ______________________.
  2. I wish I’d asked _______________ about ___________.
  3. _________ had the biggest impact on who I am today.
  4. _____ is the most beautiful place I have ever been.

Here are my responses:

I joined Blue Birds, a part of the Campfire Girls, when I was in elementary school. All I remember about it was that we met in the lunchroom at the school, and I got a little Blue Bird pin.

I wish I’d asked Grandma and Granny how they met my Grandpa and Papa. And, about the day I was born.

Many things had a big impact on who I am today. I would have to say that early exposure to the love of Jesus had the biggest impact.  If not for that, I never would have survived the other thing that had the second biggest impact, and that was not belonging.

The Blue Ridge Parkway in the fall is the most beautiful place I have ever been.

Have a blessed weekend, y’all!

  1. We should ask those we love so much more questions about their lives, before it’s too late.
I always love hearing from you, because I know you must be very busy.
    Have a blessed week!

    • Thank you, Viola. I agree, there are so many questions we should ask our loved ones before it is too late. One big problem with me is I can’t think of the questions a lot of the time until it is too late to ask them. After they pass away, then I think of hundreds of things.

I am sorry that I haven’t been around too much lately. There’s so much going on that I can’t think. I have joined some support groups for people in my situation and am doing a lot of reading there. After reading all the emotional stories on them, I just am not able to do much else. There are so many in the same situation, or worse, than I am in. We’re all looking for answers.

How are you doing? I hope that all is going great for you. {{{Hugs}}} Have a blessed week!

    • Thank you for the prayers and for Feline Friday, Sandee.

I wonder where the person took that photo? I wanted to find one that had a kitty on the Blue Ridge Parkway, but I guess that was too specific a request. This kitty looks like a sweetheart, though. 🙂

I hope that you and your man have a blessed day and week, too. 🙂

Oh my gosh. Suzanne, you’re doing it again with the twin thing! lol While I wasn’t a Blue Bird, I was a Brownie; I have never really belonged anywhere either, and I would give just about anything to live near the Blue Ridge Mtns.
