Thank you all for continued prayers for David. We appreciate them very much.

Here are the fill-ins:

  1. When I can’t ______________, I get ____________.
  2. Bring back ____________________________________.
  3. I’m embarrassed to say ________________________.
  4. I feel like _____________ gives my life meaning.

Here are my responses:

sherlock-holmes-147255_640When I can’t deal with something without crying, I get very annoyed. I dislike feeling like I’m being a crybaby!

Bring back the days of lightning bugs, hide-and-seek, dodgeball, and flipping around at the top of the slide. I sure miss those days.

I’m embarrassed to say that I am terrified to initiate a conversation with my suspected birth father. But, it is what it is.

I feel like taking care of David as well as helping people to reconnect with lost family give my life meaning.

Have a blessed weekend, y’all!

I hate crying over stuff, too. It’s a thing with INFJs.

I didn’t realize you’d made such progress in discovering the identity of your birth father! I will send up some prayers for you concerning this – I know how much the whole situation has weighed on your heart.

    • I’m sorry things make you cry, too. If there’s going to be a “thing”, then I guess we are going to have it, eh? 🙂
Thank you for the prayers over the whole father situation. I sent a letter via FB Messenger to the potential half-brother/half-first cousin Thursday afternoon. It was our second round of contact. He saw the message, but has yet to respond to it. I hope that he is just pondering over what to say and that it isn’t going to be bad news when he responds….if he responds.
Have a blessed weekend, my friend!

One of the possible blessings of this whole episode in your life may be the addition of new family members to love you. That is my wish for you. ❤ [hugs] xoxox

        • Thank you, Vanessa. That is my hope, too. Right now, I think the one I have contacted is just trying to process the whole idea of it and is being silent now. He is a potential half-brother/cousin. I know how hard this whole thing is to process and I am trying to be patient. Both sides of this coin are hard.

          Thanks for your encouragement. {{{Hugs}}}❤

I hope this is the breakthrough and your search for your biological father comes to an end.
Taking care of others is a wonderful way to give your life reason, I feel the same.
I continue to pray for both of you.

I always feel self-conscious crying over things too, but at the same time it feels so good. I think we need to embrace the good cry!

I used to cry a lot over things, but now, when I feel frustrated or a cry coming on, I close my eyes and pray. Blessed weekend to you and yours.

Continued prayers to your entire family! And this image you shared is absolutely stunning. I really appreciate the majestic beauty of it. And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I’ll admit that I’m not much of a cryer. I don’t cry often, but I’m also admittedly not a very emotional person in general. I’m most emotional with my furbabies, if I’m being honest. I’ve never had to go through as much as you’re going through right now, though, so I would completely understand if you need a good cry sometimes. It’s really nothing to be ashamed of, and it can be incredibly cathartic. Sending you all prayers and well wishes!

    • Thank you. I thought it was a beautiful image, too. Thank you for the fill-ins. I really wish sometimes that I wasn’t so emotional, but that is how He made me. I just have to figure how to function through this part of my life, especially the parts that I never wanted and don’t know how to deal with. Thank you for the prayers and well wishes. Have a blessed weekend.😊
