Thank you all for continued prayers for David. We appreciate them very much.

Here are the fill-ins:

  1. I have been contemplating ________________________.
  1. I want to _______ a _______about _________________.
  1. People should worry less about ______ and more about ____.
  1. I want to make the world a better place by _______.

Here are my responses:

I have been contemplating my calling, my purpose, in this life.

I want to write a post about finding my bio father.

People should worry less about having the next big thing and worry more about people who are struggling just to survive.

I want to make the world a better place by helping others to find the answers to their DNA mysteries, to help them find the people who they never knew were missing from their lives.

  1. I agree, we should be thankful for what we are given. There’s so much poverty in this world.
Helping others who also want to find out the truth with an DNA test is a very good idea, you know what they are going through!
    Have a blessed week!

    • Thank you, Viola! There are so many people in the same position that I am in or even worse. It breaks my heart to think of all the hurting people, hurting through no fault of their own. They just want to know who they are.
      Have a blessed weekend. 🙂

    • Thanks, Sandee. 🙂

Yes, it is a sad shame for there to be so many needy people, in this country and others, too. You would think in this country, the alleged richest on earth, there would be no families battling poverty, but there are many.

Thank you for hosting the Feline Friday Blog Hop. I enjoy the kitties very much!

Have a blessed weekend and thanks for the prayers. ♥

Beautiful photo. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. You should write a book about helping people find their missing pieces. Have a blessed weekend! XO

    • Thanks, Ellen! I always enjoy the fill-ins, even though I am often late with them these days.

I think that is a great book idea, but I’m not so sure that I would be good at writing it. 🙂

I hope that you have a blessed weekend, too. (((Hugs)))

Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! Your answer to #3 is so profound, and so true. It’s sad to see some people focusing on things like buying the next expensive gadget, when there are others out there trying to figure out how to manage their next meal. Sending you lots of prayers!

    • Thank you for co-hosting with Ellen. I always enjoy the fill-ins.

Speaking of the needy, did you know that there has been a major increase in the cost of purchasing insulin? If David didn’t have Medicare, we would have to somehow find about $1000 a month for his insulin. That is nearly all of the income we have coming in. Some diabetics are having to ration their insulin and supplies. They have to choose between medicine and food. We are blessed that David has Medicare, but even with that, co-pays make some things out of reach. While he isn’t one that rations insulin, we do have to ration the pump supplies, using them longer than recommended. These folks need insulin just to live and the Big Pharma is only concerned with making money. I think they don’t realize that if they kill their customer base with exorbitant prices, there won’t be anyone left to buy their products!

Thankfully, some states are price capping insulin. I just hope that Texas will become one of those states.

Thanks for the prayers. Have a blessed weekend. 🙂

So much to learn about DNA and finding missing people – whether they’re donors; adoptors …

And I agree with your third fill-in. I will admit that I do not do the second thing nearly enough. I want the next big thing to be about that!

    • Yes, there is so much to learn and much of it is very confusing with way too many variables to make any of this journey easy.

I think all of us are a bit guilty of being more concerned with “getting” than “giving” sometimes. It’s just a part of being human, I guess.

      Have a blessed weekend. 🙂
