Thank you all for continued prayers for David. We appreciate them very much.
For those of you in the path of that storm named Barry, please know you’re all in my prayers!
Here are the fill-ins:
- I am able to ____________________, but I won’t.
- I won’t ever ___________________________ again.
- The current chapter of my life would be titled _________.
- I’ve been meaning to _________ but haven’t yet.
Here are my responses:
I am able to do sit-ups, but I won’t. At this point, they are dangerous for me to do due to the mesh damage.
I won’t ever go “home” again. It was never truly “home” anyway, apparently. Texas is my home now; wherever David is, that’s the only “home” I need.
The current chapter of my life would be titled “Enough Already!” or “Would Someone Please Stop the Not-So-Merry-Go-Round, Like, Now?!” But, this, too, shall pass.
I’ve been meaning to get the middle bedroom converted to our home office, but haven’t yet. Motivation and energy are severely lacking these days. I’m also not 100% sure that my computer will pick up the wireless signal from the router if I move it to another room. It was hardwired for years, but I saw that it could be wireless, so we unplugged it from the router/modem thingy. It is working fine in here, but the router is right over the computer. I don’t want to go through the hassle of moving everything into the other room and then find out it isn’t going to work. But, there’s only one way to find out and that is to just do it. That room adjoins this one and there is a vent that is open between the two rooms. Maybe the signal will just find its way through that vent. Goodness knows voices have over the years!

My response if it doesn’t work. 🙂
Have a blessed weekend, y’all!

I know that feeling about home. 😦 I’m sorry you’re feeling it too. I was born and raised in CA, and I don’t think anyone could pay me to live there anymore. I don’t even want to visit San Francisco.
As for the wifi, you can get a thing called a wifi booster, or wifi extender, for much less than the cost of a new wifi set-up, and that should carry your signal for you to other rooms in your home. (Walmart, Amazon, et al) You can also talk to your provider to see if they have a booster (that’s what we did several months ago) and they may be able to offer you an upgrade. I totally get not wanting to deal with the hassle of moving for nothing!

{{{Hugs}}} I’m sorry it is like this for you, too, regarding home.
Thank you. I will check Amazon for the wifi booster and add it to my ever growing wish list. 🙂 That will be way easier than dealing with the provider. haha
{{{Hugs}}} Have a great day and weekend, Vanessa. ❤

Absolutely agree with what you say about home. When I followed my husband to the countryside, I felt insecure at first. Now I know home is where my “pack” is.
Vanessence has a good point where your WiFi is concerned, maybe there’s a simple solution to the problem.
The picture of the angry cat sitting on the laptop is hilarious 🙂
Have a blessed week!

Thanks! I saw that kitty and knew it would be perfect for the wifi part of the post. 🙂
I am glad that you are feeling more secure now and that home is where your pack is. Living in the country is one of my biggest dreams! I grew up in the woods right beside a dairy farm. This living in town right beside throngs of other people just isn’t for me. I look forward to escaping.
I will definitely look into the booster for the wifi. I’m going to have to do a whole lot of Crowdtapping to get enough gift cards to cover these things I’m adding to my Amazon wishlist haha.
Have a blessed day and weekend, Viola. {{{Hugs}}}

Home is where your heart is and it’s with David. I get that.
Prayers continue for the both of you.
That would be my response too. Love it.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Thank you, Sandee, for the always kind comments and for the prayers. AND for Feline Friday. I love looking at kitty pics. Our babies rarely let me get a good photo. I’m lucky that Pixabay has tons of them. 🙂
Have a blessed week. {{{Hugs}}} ♥
