Thank you all for continued prayers for David. We appreciate them very much.

Please be sure to visit him over at Random Thoughts and Observations.

Here are the fill-ins:

  1. I could use some suggestions for _____________.
  2. I never refuse _______________________________.
  3. I hope _________________________ never changes.
  4. I would rate __________________ a 10 out of 10.

Here are my responses:

I could use some suggestions for how to do everything, get everything done well, and not be cranky and too tired to even breath, while battling insomnia and the “never shuts up” brain.

I would never refuse shrimp or cheesecake.

I hope my love for family history research never changes. I can hope that, but I can already feel it happening.  It has been a big part of my life for so long (40 years), I cannot imagine it being absent from my life. But, over the last year it has brought so much heartache.  Not just for me, but many others.  The more I try to find my answers, the more I see other hurting people in the same situation that I am in, or worse.  We want answers and all we find are secrets. So, I can’t let it go because I want to help them find their answers, whether I ever have mine or not.

I would rate kitty cats a 10 out of 10.

I may have some help for the brain thing – mine is the same and I have been on a quest and I think I’ve found the solution.

I’m sorry you’re not finding the answers you’re looking for with your ancestry work. 😦

    • Thanks, Vanessa. I would love to know the solution that you’ve found for the brain thing.

The answers will come when they are meant to, I guess. I just have to be more patient and more persistent in looking for them. I keep praying for Heavenly Father to open my eyes so that I can see what has to be right in front of me, that I’m just not seeing.

      Have a blessed weekend. ♥

I’ve really been struggling with trying to keep everything in my head, and my brain just never shuts up – it never has, and it’s getting worse as I get older. I’ve come across the concept of doing something called “brain dumps” and I’ve collected about a dozen articles on it. This one is one of the most comprehensive. I have finally figured out my notebook strategy and am ready to tackle this.

As for the ancestor thing – I can ask my heart-sister if she knows any resources, if you’d like. She was adopted, and has been trying to find her family for a long time and has recently found some relatives who seem to know a lot about navigating the whole “hunting for the missing relative” thing.

Please pray for our family. I know you are a Believer, and right now we are needing prayer badly. ❤ Thank you. xoxox

        • Thank you, Vanessa. I am definitely praying for your family. {{{Hugs}}}❤ I hope that everything is going to be fine. I’m sorry for whatever is happening.

Thank you for the link to this article. I will read it right after I send this response.

I would love any resources that you and your heart-sister can come up with and, if there is anything that I can do to help her find her family, I will be glad to do so. Just let me know.

          Have a blessed weekend, my friend! {{{Hugs}}}

I have asked her to contact you – I know she’s been super busy with some things she’s had going on, but I’m sure she will be in touch. 🙂

Thank you for your prayers! My husband got let go from his job, so it’s been kind of scary (we’ve been down this road before and lost everything several years ago). I know it seems like small potatoes compared to other things that people are coping with (my other heart-sis has stage 4 cancer 😦 ) but it is scary for us none-the-less.

  4. No wonder you are feeling cranky when you are tired all the time 😦 Please be kind to yourself.
I am never too full to have a piece of cheesecake as well 😉
Not getting the answers you are looking for must be very frustrating. But at least you know more now than at the beginning of your quest.
    Have a blessed week!

    • Thank you, Viola. There is just so much that needs to be done, and that I want to do, I hate to go to sleep. My body has a way of shutting me down, though. I guess it figures even fitful, interrupted sleep is better than none at all.
I agree. At least I know more now than at the beginning. I feel on the verge of a breakthrough, but the brick in the wall doesn’t want to budge. It will, though. I’m stubborn. haha
      Have a blessed weekend. 🙂
