We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Sammy, from The Cat Corner, and Samantha, from Wag”nWoof Pets, and Maggy, from Zoolatry.  You’re all in our prayers for comfort during this sad time. Thank you, Ellen, for letting all of us know.

Thank you all for continued prayers for David. We appreciate them very much.

Please be sure to visit him over at Random Thoughts and Observations and give him a bit of encouragement.  He has a long road to recovery ahead of him.  He wants very much to be able to write and talk like he once did. Thank you.

Here are the fill-ins:

  1. 13 years ago, I _________________________.
  1. By this time next year, I hope to _______.
  1. One word that describes me is ___________.
  1. If my life were a book or movie, it would be in the _________ genre.

Here are my responses:

13 years ago, I was still excited that we had been able to go on vacation in 2005. Of course, in everyone else’s eyes, it was a hurricane evacuation (Hurricane Rita), but to me, it was a vacation and it was great! I got to add another state to my “Been There” list. That state was Oklahoma. The kids got to add two to their list because they’d also never been to Kansas. We stayed in Oklahoma for most of the evacuation, but took a day trip to Kansas to see Coffeyville. It was a great day!

By this time next year, I hope to know who I am and what I am supposed to do when I grow up, ideally, something with value and that brings joy. Not just to me, but to others, too.

One word that describes me is “tired”. In every way that a person can be tired, I am tired, but have trouble sleeping. Plus, I don’t want to take time to sleep. There’s too much left that I have to do and that I want to do and I can’t do those things if I am asleep.

If my life were a book or movie, it would be in the horror or drama genre most of the time. But, sometimes it would be in the slapstick comedy genre.

Have a blessed weekend, y’all!

Very cute kitty and little girl as a kitty. Thank you for participating, great answers. Glad you were able to enjoy an evacuation and make it into a vacation. I am sorry you are so tired, if I lived near you, I would offer to help in some way. Sorry I forgot to add the link to my blog, I fixed it now. Have a nice weekend. XO
