Please, everyone, keep our hostess Ellen in your prayers. Her sweet Tallulah has crossed over the Bridge.

Here are the fill-ins:

  1. I get to _________ every week.
  1. So far, 2019 is _____________.
  1. I will never tire of ________.
  1. Can you believe that ________?

Tiglet says Mommy’s blankies are the best!

Here are my responses:

I get to do things and go places that I don’t want to do and go every week. However, I do get to participate in Friendly Fill-Ins and Feline Friday each week and I enjoy both of those very much!

So far, 2019 is mentally, and somewhat physically, exhausting. Who knew that thinking could be so tiring? It’s no wonder some folks avoid it!

I will never tire of reading my Bible, watching the birds, stargazing, or working on family history. I may get tired and fall asleep while doing them, but I never tire of doing them.

Can you believe that it is almost bluebonnet season? YAYAYAY!

Bluebonnet season is a great time to be in Texas. I love you, my zing, and I look forward to bluebonnet hunting with you for many more years to come.

Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I am so glad you enjoy the Friendly Fill-Ins each week. I most certainly always enjoy reading your answers. I had to laugh at your answer to #3, because I am notorious for falling asleep in the middle of working on something, even if it’s something I truly enjoy. I’ll fall asleep while drawing, while writing, while reading, and all that jazz. My sister lives with me, and it drives her bonkers that sometimes she’ll be having a conversation with me, and if it’s late enough in the day, I’ll fall asleep while she’s talking. I hope your 2019 becomes less exhausting for you, and that your weekend is happy, healthy, and blessed!

    • You’re welcome and thank you, too. 🙂
It would be nice if we could stay awake through the things that we like to do, wouldn’t it? I fall asleep with David talking to me, too. It can be very frustrating to me, but I think he sometimes finds it funny. 🙂

I hope your 2019 is less tiring, too! Have a blessed weekend. 🙂

Aw, Tiglet is adorable. I’ll bet that little one has a great personality.

I love your answer to #1. I remember working and going and doing things I’d rather not. I’m so happy that’s not the case anymore.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, my friend. ♥

    • Thank you, Sandee. He’s a little rascal for sure! He has gotten to where he bites me and I mean aggressive biting and holding onto my hand with his claws while he bites me. I don’t know how to get him beyond this stage. If he’s still doing this when he’s full grown, I won’t have a hand left.

He’s adorable, though. I love him to pieces. 🙂

Thank you. I hope that you have a blessed weekend, too, my friend. ♥

Great picture of Tiglet. I wish my Buddy would pose like that. I knew a McClendon family when I was young and went to college with one of them. She was such a sweet girl. Love your fill-ins and hope you have a good week.

    • Thanks, Marti. Maybe Buddy will pose the way you want soon. The kitties here aren’t always cooperative either. 🙂

Do you know your friend’s parents names? Maybe they are David’s relatives. We grew up in South Carolina.

Thank you. Have a blessed weekend. 🙂

    Tiglet is right, of course!
You are lucky to have something so beautiful as bluebonnet season… Spring is not this spectacular where I live, but I can’t wait for warmer and sunnier days.
I hope 2019 will soon become less exhausting for you. You listed some very good things at #4 that will help you cope, I am sure!
    Have a blessed week!

    • Thank you, Viola. 🙂 It is very beautiful here in the spring. When does it usually warm up in your area? There have been years here that it reached 100 degrees Fahrenheit by April and it just gets hotter from there.

I think part of my exhaustion is because I am anemic no matter what I do or take. I need to get to a point of being able to cope with this and eventually I will, I guess.

I hope you’re doing well and have a blessed weekend. 🙂

Being anemic sucks, they found out I was and treated me for it last summer in the hospital. My energy level improved dramatically.
We usually get the first nice days in March, and in April spring starts in earnest. So we have to wait for another two months. But mostly I enjoy that we live in a place where we can watch the seasons changing in all their glory. I am looking forward for your photos of bluebonnets!

        • I am glad that you’ve had a great improvement in regards to your anemia, Viola, and hope it never causes you a problem again.

When I went to the ER on death’s door in June 2010, my blood levels were half what they should have been. The hemoglobin level was 7. My doctor at the time said the ER should have given me a transfusion before they released me. They didn’t and he was livid. I was put on a prescription iron supplement that summer to prepare me for surgery (which happened that October). But, I take over-the-counter supplements now and it is a constant battle.

What a blessing to live in a place with clearly defined seasons! I look forward to seeing your spring photos, too. 🙂

Most years here it is summer to one degree or another all year. I miss the seasons back home in South Carolina. But, the very long growing season here is a good thing.

          Have a blessed day. 🙂

    • Thank you. He’s my little cutie pie. 🙂
Oh yes, those blue fields are amazing! I look forward to the wildflowers very much each year. The season for these flowers is very brief, maybe a month or two. Not nearly long enough. 🙂
      Have a blessed weekend.

Such a cute kitten. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am glad you enjoy doing them. I know what you mean about thinking, it is mentally exhausting. Thank you for your kind words for Tallulah. We miss her. XO
