Friendly Fill-Ins and Feline Friday

This is a fun meme co-hosted by 15 and Meowing and Four-Legged Furballs. Be sure to visit and join in the fun!

New Friday_Fill-In_BadgeHere are the fill-ins:

  1. Better to be ____________ than ___________________.
  2. Don’t _______________ just because ________________.
  3. You couldn’t pay me to _________.
  4.  _________ is my comfort food.

Here are my responses:

Better to be safe than sorry. If something doesn’t feel right, don’t do it. Don’t go into it. Don’t be a part of it.  We’re given that still small voice, promptings of the Spirit for a reason. Every time I have brushed those feelings aside, something bad has happened.

Don’t do something just because “everyone” else is doing it. Depending on what “it” is, just maybe not everyone else has good sense. Don’t be a sheeple.

You couldn’t pay me to be a public speaker.

Ok, y’all, you know the drill. Say it with me now. Shrimp and cheesecake are my comfort foods! Ok, for something really considered a comfort food, I would choose fried chicken and any form of potatoes, fried being first choice, but mashed and loaded with gravy works, too. 🙂

And now, for Feline Friday, hosted by Sandee at Comedy Plus….

Have a blessed weekend, y’all!

  1. I cannot picture you as a public speaker, unless you had to talk about shrimp and cheesecake to get the shrimp and cheesecake. I love you, my Zing!

Love your answers. I did a bit of public speaking and didn’t like it one bit. Wasn’t very good at it either.

We both like potatoes and gravy. What’s not to like.

    Aw on the adorable kitty.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, my friend. ♥

    • Thanks, Sandee. Some of us are just meant to be the audience. I don’t even want to be in the audience most of the time. haha

I can’t think of one single thing not to like about potatoes and gravy. 🙂

I’m glad that you enjoyed the kitty. Thank you for linking us. I get so distracted here that I forget about the linking part of it.

Have a great Saturday and a blessed weekend, my friend. 🙂 ♥

Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I 1000% agree with you on #3. Public speaking is one of my greatest fears. I was required to give a speech at my high school graduation, and I was legitimately worried I would die of fear on stage. Have a wonderful weekend!

    • I can understand that fear completely! Had I had to do it for my graduation, well, I think I would have just not graduated. I was no stranger to taking the zero when it came to public speaking. I am glad that you survived your graduation speech. 🙂

      Have a blessed weekend!

  4. Yes, we better listen to this little voice and our feeling. I learned this the hard way.
Ah, cheesecake… It’s a quarter to midnight, this will have to wait until tomorrow 😋.
    Have a blessed weekend!

I’m with you on public speaking. I had to do it once and just froze but luckily hubby came to my rescue.
    That’s a sweet kitty.

Such a cutie kitten.Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, I always enjoy your answers. I never want to flock with the other sheep 🙂 I knew cheesecake would be your answer for #4 🙂 Have a nice weekend! XO

    • Thanks, Ellen. I love the way it is napping. Tiglet does this sometimes, too. 🙂

I don’t want to flock with the sheep either. haha

I think cheesecake will always be my answer to that one. Of course, maybe at some point I should say something different just to see who catches it. 🙂

      Have a blessed weekend!

  9. Very good answers, interesting to read them. Don’t avoid public speaking or at least try to imagine like you can do it and you’ll grow up there.
Either you stand on Ted Talks or write blog posts, you are a public speaker, more or less!
    Have a nice week!

Ha! Yeah, no, you couldn’t pay me to be a public speaker, either! However, in private, with people I feel comfortable with, I have my moments where they wish I would just shut up, lol. 😀

    Blessings! xoxox
