Friendly Fill-Ins

This is a fun meme co-hosted by 15 and Meowing and Four-Legged Furballs. Be sure to visit and join in the fun!

New Friday_Fill-In_BadgeHere are the fill-ins:

1. I just ______________________________.

2. My next _____ will be _______________.

3. The sound of _________ makes me cringe.

4. Right now, I am craving ______________.

Here are my responses:

I just shared a document with David. We are very thankful to Ellen and LoriAnne for sharing the Fill-Ins on Wednesday nights. It makes it much easier for us to participate in the fill-ins each week when we can get the post scheduled ahead of time.

My (really, our) next supper meal will be salmon patties.

The sound of brakes squealing makes me cringe.

Right now, I am craving the same thing I always crave. I bet you can’t guess what that is!

Have a blessed weekend, y’all!

Yep, it would have to be cheesecake & shrimp! 🙂

    • Yes, most definitely shrimp and cheesecake. I could live off them, well, okay, maybe not for long. I’d be bigger than a house, but I’d be a happy huge me. haha

I agree. Salmon patties are always a good choice. How do you make yours?

Have a blessed Friday and weekend. 🙂

Well, to a can of salmon I add an egg, s & p, a little flour, some chopped onions, then drop by spoon fulls (but smash a little flat) into a frying pan with a little Crisco.
Is that how you make them? 🙂

        • The only difference between mine and yours is that I use crushed saltine crackers instead of flour. Last night, I used two cans of salmon, some onion, an egg, salt and pepper, and one strip of saltine crackers. I shape them with my hands and then put them into the frying pan with oil. David said they were great. 🙂 The girl kitty was going nutso over the smell, but when I gave her a little bit of the salmon (that didn’t have anything mixed with it), she didn’t eat it. Petra ended up eating it instead.
          Have a blessed night. 🙂

  6. On your number 4, let me guess, pork chops and apple sauce. Seriously shrimp and cheesecake. I love you, my Zing!

  7. Yes, squeaking brakes often mean an accident will happen…
Made a simple cheesecake yesterday, but it was too much for us, so my husband took the rest to work today, and his colleagues liked it, of course.
    Have a blessed week!
