What Halloween Costume Matches Your Personality?

While they almost nailed it for my friend Vanessa over at Vanessence, they were off a bit on mine. I think they must have been peeking through someone else’s window instead of mine. 🙂

I don’t really like to participate in anything that takes me away from home these days.  I am a keen observer and pretty detail-oriented. I prefer to blend into the background if I have to be in a crowd for any reason at all.  The Invisible Woman would be a more fitting costume for me.

You are a silently enthusiastic person. You like to participate in things, but you don’t like too much attention.

When you get dressed up for Halloween, you really get in the spirit of things – in the most subdued way possible.

You are a keen observer, and you love to people watch. You’re big on noticing little details.

You tend to blend into the background, but you’re not tuning out. In fact, you’re often the most engaged person in the crowd.

I “should be a pirate”…which is amusing to me as my Renaissance faire garb is that of a pirate….I wonder why I never get to be cinderella or a fairy princess?

    • I think a pirate would be a cool costume. I also think that Cinderella would be great. I like how she overcame the bad things. One of our daughters is a fairy princess. She played Tinkerbell for years for the local theatre’s character breakfast. This year she was Merida from the Brave movie. You should see her big red wig!

Maybe the princess world just isn’t ready for all your awesomeness. 🙂

A mummy sounds pretty cool. For me, I’ve always liked dressing up as a witch or ghoul. We used to have family Halloween parties, where everyone dressed in a costume. It was fun.

    • That sounds like it could be fun. I think my claustrophobia would make being a mummy a problem, as least if I were fully being a mummy. Do you dress up for Halloween at this point in your life? How come you don’t have the Halloween parties anymore?
      Have a blessed evening. 🙂

We don’t do those parties any more, mostly because most of the family has passed on now, or moved away. It was fun, though. I don’t do a costume any more, but try to do something like a scarf or hair barrette or some fun Halloween jewelry. I have some really cute little hats, too. 🙂

        • Ooh, you need to share a photo of you in one of the cute hats and scarf. 🙂
Laynie (our oldest daughter) and I usually do an October photo shoot, but it doesn’t look like that’s happening this year. Things keep interfering with the planning of it. Oh well. We may just end up doing one here in our yard instead of in the cemetery or the ruins.
I’m sorry the party-goers have passed on. I bet they are having a grand ol’ time where they are now, though.

  4. It certainly got mine wrong, labeling me as “painfully shy.” While i’m not a big attention seeker, i am not that, either.

I actually love the Invisible Woman thing!
Sometimes, it’s weird how alike we are. 🙂 I actually WAS invisible once as a kid – to a babysitter. She actually jumped when she saw me in the backseat of her car once we got to wherever we were going and she got out. “Oh! I forgot you were there, you’re so quiet!” Don’t know what she saw in the rear-view mirror but apparently it wasn’t me.
