Hop on over to Cee’s place to join in the fun!
A piece of clothing from your younger childhood you still remember?
When I was a little girl, I had a baby blue teddy bear pantsuit. It wasn’t an all-over teddy bear print. The bear was on the top. I loved that suit! But, as happens, I grew out of it. I had a younger sister and SHE, the person I saw as having taken everything else from me, got my teddy bear pantsuit. I was so upset. I still remember it to this day, although I am pretty sure at approaching 50 years old, she’s grown out of it now, too. 🙂
Irregardless of your physical fitness, coordination, or agility: If you could be an athlete what would you do? Remember this is SYW, dreaming is always allowed.
I would choose to be a figure skater. I have always loved watching the figure skaters. My favorite book as a child was The Silver Seven, which was about competitive figure skating.
In a car would you rather drive or be a passenger?
DRIVER DRIVER DRIVER! I am a horrible, rotten, no good, very bad passenger. I have trust issues overall and this is one of the areas where it is best displayed. *I* have to have control of the vehicle.
What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.
With David for a husband, there are so many opportunities for a smile that it is difficult to single one out. Okay, I’ve got one. Just this morning at wound care, the doctor reminded us of when David had fallen asleep when the girls were little and they made him up all “purdy”. That is when the fire department fundraiser people came to the door. We tried to warn him before he opened the door, but were unsuccessful in getting him to listen because he was focused on answering the door. Well, he got greeted with some really confused stares, standing there all made up like a beauty queen. 🙂
