Friendly Fill-Ins

2 February 2018

This is a fun meme co-hosted by 15 and Meowing and McGuffy’s Reader. Be sure to visit and join in the fun!

Friday_Fill-In_BadgeHere are the fill-ins:

1. Trust_______________________.
2. I would protest ____________.
3. I have _______since ________.
4. Right now, I _______________.

Here are my responses:

Trust is very hard to regain once it is broken.

I would protest abortion and have.

I have loved photography since I was a little girl. I used to follow my parents around with my “finger camera” and take a “picture” of them each time I caught them kissing.

Right now, I am wondering what lies ahead for all of us. The situation that we requested prayer for turned worse.  I don’t know where we all go from here, but Heavenly Father has it all under control.

I don’t know what tomorrow holds, but I know Who holds tomorrow.

“Why should I feel discouraged, why should the shadows come,
Why should my heart be lonely, and long for heav’n and home,
When Jesus is my portion? My constant Friend is He:
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.

I sing because I’m happy, I sing because I’m free,
For His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.

“Let not your heart be troubled,” His tender word I hear,
And resting on His goodness, I lose my doubts and fears;
Though by the path He leadeth, but one step I may see;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.

Whenever I am tempted, whenever clouds arise,
When songs give place to sighing, when hope within me dies,
I draw the closer to Him, from care He sets me free;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.”

    • Thank you, Ellen, on all counts. 🙂

      This situation at hand is pretty terrifying for our family. We will get through it, thanks to the prayers of caring people.

      I appreciate your encouragement for my photography very much. 🙂

      Have a blessed weekend!

  3. I am not sure what situation you are referring to. But, I trust God to answer prayers His way, in His time. I cannot see the big picture the way He does. So, “Be still.” You know that He is God. ~Psalm 46:10. If I can do anything, let me know. Prayers.
