20. Did you have a neighborhood park/playground? Did you play there?
In the mill village in Anderson, there was a park and, yes, I most definitely played there. I loved to climb the slide and turn flips at the top of it before I slid down it. Even after we moved to Starr, we road our bikes over there to play. It was this park where The Great ‘I Reckon’ Incident occurred when I was 15 years old.

Oh no, it wasn’t an accident at all. It was at that park that David asked me to be his girlfriend, to “go with” him. My response? “I reckon”. haha We’ve had a good laugh over that response for years. 🙂
