2017 September Challenge: Back Where I Come From – Day 18

For more information on this challenge, click here.

18. Did you like your childhood home? What did you like or not like about it?

Our house at 508 Wellington Street was a cool house. The way it was laid out, we could run circles around the inside of the house.  Once, my little brothers and cousins were doing this and one of them got turned around. Two of the boys ran head on into each other. OUCH!

When we moved to Starr, it was an adventure.  We spent some time without modern amenities, but that was okay…we were living in the woods! I loved living in the woods, riding my bike through them, and playing at the creek. It was great!

Sounds like y’all had fun where you lived back then! Our house had a hallway that opened at each end, and we’d run around in circles too! So fun. I always wanted to live in the woods…or on a farm! 🙂 … here’s my Day 18 entry: http://wp.me/p3RE1e-3Go

    • We lived in the woods right beside a dairy farm. I didn’t like the smell, but the cows were so pretty. Maybe one day you’ll get to be in the woods or on a farm, too. 🙂 It was a lot of fun most of the time. Other times, there were very scary moments. There’s always bad with the good, I guess.

Thanks for your link, Barbara. I’ll visit shortly. 🙂
