Gratitude Journal Challenge

Gratitude_ChallengeWhat taste are you grateful for today?

Oh wow, this question could go in a multitude of directions! I am thankful for a lot of tastes. I’ll focus on the food ones, naturally.  🙂  Today, I am thankful for the taste of homemade fried potatoes, which is what I am going to make shortly.

Thank you, Heavenly Father, for potatoes and deep fryers!

David is doing the challenge, too. Please visit him over at Random Thoughts and Observations. Thanks!

Hey, Suzanne! Just peel a potato, or a few, however many you need. Use a grater, to shred them. Heat a little oil in a skillet. Spread the potatoes pretty evenly in the skillet, and fry on one side, till brown, then turn over and do the other side. That’s all we do. 🙂

Oh yum! Now my mouth is watering! I love when they get that nice brown crust on them but they’re still soft on the inside. 🙂
