Inch:

This little squirrel was inching its way toward me until a loud thing happened. I can’t remember now if it was the loud muffler that went by or the barking dogs next door.

  3. Suzanne,

The Titmouse does appear to be smiling. I’m sure it’s just happy to see you and that you brought your camera along. 🙂 Sometimes I see a squirrel run along our neighbor’s fence but I never have my camera. 😦

    • Well, then, young lady, you need to correct that. 🙂 Does your phone have a camera? Maybe make sure you always at least have your phone with you and take its picture with that. It isn’t always practical to take the big camera out with us, but it is a good idea to always, always have the phone when we go out. You never know what might happen, even in one’s own yard. I’m prone to falling. If I need help, then I can call David. Of course, it would be my luck to fall on the phone and break it. 🙂

      Have a blessed day.

Vivaldi is adorable! Lovely image of the bird. The squirrel is too cute. We have the red squirrels here rather than the gray ones. Thanks so much for joining Friday’s Hunt. Enjoy the rest of your week!

    • Thank you. 🙂 I look forward to joining this week, too.

I sure love this little froggy. 🙂

Some of the squirrels here have a reddish tint to them, but I don’t know what their official title is. There are regular gray ones and those that are reddish here. These little bitty squirrels are so cute. There are three babies out there together sometimes and, boy, are they fast! Do you have a lot of squirrels in your yard?
I hope that you enjoy the rest of your week, too. 🙂

I have quite a few right now. Don’t know if they’ll stay with the dog. I have a young one that has discovered the corn in the chicken coop, so he’s getting pretty friendly.

        • These are pretty skiddish about dogs, too. Every time the neighbors’ dogs get to barking and growling, the squirrels freeze like statues. With especially loud commotion from those dogs, they take off up into the trees and then sneak their way back down. Do the chickens mind the squirrel? Do you think it will ever take food from your hand?

What big eyes you have, Vivaldi! We like to keep our birds happy, don’t we? And squirrels, of course!

    • Do you just love those big ol’ froggy eyes? I think he’s totally adorable. 🙂
Yes, I love trying to keep the birds happy.
Ahh those squirrels…they were a barrel of laughs today. The little ones were playing tag at the base of one of the big trees in the backyard. They looked like they were having a blast. 🙂
      Have a blessed night.
