Singing My Heart Out

Okay.  I wasn’t the one singing, but this daddy wren sure was.  I could hear him well above all of the other backyard chatter today.  Did you know that only the male Carolina Wrens have a song?  The girls don’t sing.  They have calls, but not a song.  So, that is the only way I can tell them apart.   If it is singing, then I know its the daddy.  He’s probably singing because he’s not the one that had to pop out those eggs!
