Who Is It?

This is the second time that I’ve seen this bird in our yard, but the first time it was anywhere near close enough to get a picture with any detail.  Do any of you know what kind of bird this is?

UPDATE: We now have an identification on this bird, thanks to Barbara over at Teleportingweena.  It is an Ash Throated Flycatcher.  Thank you, Barbara!

    Sorry, I wish I could help you, as I love learning about nature, we don’t have a bird like that in NZ.
    I always read your articles so if sometime identifies it I will be learning as well as you.

    Okay, I looked in my bird book, and then looked at google pictures… it looks most similar to the ‘ash throated flycatcher’. See if you think so when you look it up. (I’d put a picture, but don’t know how on comments)

    Very pretty, I have never seen one in Massachusetts.

      Thanks. I think its yellowy tummy is a pretty color. I’ve only seen this bird twice, unlike the other birds I’ve shared, which I see every day. I wonder if they don’t go that far north or if they are just really good at hiding up there like they are here in our yard?
