Good Mornin’, Darlin’!

This has been a most wonderful morning! I’ve made the capture of my day and it isn’t even 10am yet!

About Suzanne Gunter McClendon

I am a South Carolina native, but have been living on the Texas Gulf Coast for 17 years now. David and I have been married for almost 38 years. Our children are grown. We have two grandchildren and one on the way. I try to learn something new every day. My obsession is genealogy/family history research.

  3. Suzanne,

At least you got lucky with nabbing this photo of the cardinal couple. I missed my opportunity when our handsome couple came by for a visit. Excellent job!

    • Thanks, Cathy! I got more kissy shots of them today. Just sit outside and watch for awhile, yours may come back, too. Good luck!
      Have a blessed night. 🙂

      • Suzanne, we see the male cardinal every now and then, but as a pair no show. I think they have a nest nearby, though. With all the dense leafy growth right now on our bank behind our house, you can’t see anything. I say this fall we’ll notice more activity.

        • Cathy, maybe she’s on the nest and will come out of hiding at some point. I think I read earlier that they have babies about three times a year. I hope that you’ll be able to get some pictures of them together. I just had a most beautiful scene pop into my head – your cardi couple with the fall leaves ablaze in color in the background and a mountain peak somewhere in the picture, too. Just beautiful!
          Have a blessed day. 🙂
