Z is for Zoo #AtoZChallenge

Z is for zoo.

The zoo is a great place to go for entertainment and exercise.  The monkeys out of the cages are as much fun to watch as the monkeys inside the cages.  It gives us joy to watch the little ones as they get so excited over seeing the animals and feeding the ducks and just generally running around all over the place.  It has been a very long time since there were children here at McClendon Villa.

But, monkeys doesn’t start with Z and I need to show you a Z word. So, how about a zebra?

  1. Contrary to the way many people feel these days, I think zoos have a very important purpose, especially for those of us who will never get to Africa or Australia. Seeing an animal live is so much better than watching them on television or looking at pictures. I never appreciated how big a giraffe was until i saw one.

Congratulations for making it to the end of A to Z challenge, I knew you would. I do like going to the zoo, we have a very nice one, Brooklands Zoo in New Plymouth which is only a fifteen-minute drive from our home. It is a family friendly one great for kids, they are not locked in cages, had a birthday party for a one-year-old there in December 2016 really enjoyed seeing all the animals.
Have a nice May, I will still be reading your posts but won’t be writing much, my head needs a rest very hard to think, like a ton weight on the left side of my face.
Happy days to you and your family, lots of love with laughter, look after yourself, blessings my friend.

    • Thank you, Elsie. I’m sorry that I didn’t make it over to your blog as often as I would have liked to. I didn’t visit anybody as much as I wanted to. I enjoyed your animal posts very much. Congratulations to you, too, for making it through the challenge. How nice that the animals at your zoo are not locked in cages.
I’m sorry about the heaviness on your face and trouble thinking. Have you had a stroke? I hope that you’re going to be okay. You’re in my prayers. I hope that you have a great May, too, thank you. Many blessings to you and your family, my friend. 🙂
