Friendly Fill-Ins

This is a fun meme co-hosted by McGuffy’s Reader and 15 and Meowing. Be sure to visit and join in the fun!

Friday_Fill-In_BadgeHere are the fill-ins:

1. A book I would like to see made into a movie is ____________________.

2. If I could afford a billboard, it would say __________________.

3. I have a hard time _________________________.

4. I really enjoy _____________________________.

Here are my responses:

Although I do not generally watch horror movies anymore, and this book was very scary to me on so many levels, I think that Beastia would make a great horror movie! This book was so scary at some points that it had me fighting off tears and a panic attack. It is a very short, but powerful, book.

Okay, chances are if I’m seeing a billboard, I’m on the road somewhere, maybe even the freeway. So, if I were able to afford a billboard (and maybe all of them along my path), it would say, “Back off, bucko!” Or, maybe even, “Slow down! Walmart will still be there. You, however, might not make it if you keep driving like that!”

I have a hard time performing or being in front of people. I am a behind-the-scenes person. David is our front-man.

I really enjoy researching our family’s history and photographing things in nature. I can’t imagine a life that didn’t include these things.

Thank you for participating, great answers. I love this photo you took too. Your billboard reminds me of one on the highway I use sometimes, it is an ad for a vault/casket company and it says slow down, we can wait. That sounds like ti would be a scary movie if the book left you so scared. Have a nice weekend.

    • Thank you, too, Ellen. I always enjoy the fill-ins. 🙂
I think that is a great slogan for a casket/vault company and a funeral home, too.
It would be a totally terrifying movie, one that I am sure I could never watch. I think I pretty much held my breath the whole time I was reading the book.
      Have a blessed weekend. 🙂

  2. Nope. No horror for me. I will let you do that. wink
My wise Grampy used to say that speeders would be the first ones to their own funeral.
Bill is the one in front of people here, as long as he has one of his guitars!
I need a new camera. My camera is slow. What do you use?
    Have a good weekend.

    • For my “real” camera, I have a Canon Digital Rebel Xsi. The one I have with me the most often is my iPhone 5s. I also have an older iPhone 4s that I use for its camera, too. For me, that’s what my phones are, cameras. haha

Also, I think, regardless of what the photography snobs think, people can get great images from a phone’s camera app. Thankfully, not all big-time photographers are snobs and are actually willing to encourage the rest of us.

I can’t remember which camera I used to take that bluebonnet photo.

What kind of camera are you using?

      Have a blessed weekend.

Your billboard idea is a great one, if only it would work!
