Rest in Peace, Sweet Callie

Today, we went out to walk the grand-dogger Petra and to water the tomatoes.  When I went to check on the plants in the backyard, I found our precious Callie had gone on over to the Bridge. 😦

There is what appeared to be a single, large fang mark in her chest, so we assume that a snake of some sort got her. We don’t know why there isn’t a second fang mark, but that isn’t important. Our sweet baby is gone.

So sorry for the loss of Callie. It’s heartbreaking when our pets pass on. We have such a strong connection to our animal friends. I believe we will see them again someday. ❤

    • Thank you, Ellen. She mourned for her brother for so long. While I wish she was still here with us, I know the two of them are happy to be playing together again in a place where there is no suffering, only happy things. Have a blessed weekend.
