OctPoWriMo: Day 8

To learn more about this challenge, please click here or click the butterfly image at the bottom of this post.

My parched, porous heart
Soaked up your love
Just like a sponge.

Every drop of you
Flooded my soul;
I took the plunge.

You took me higher
Than I could see
And let me fall,

Only to catch me
Saturated
With your love.
