28. When did you go on your first date? What did you do? Where did you go? Did you go out on another date with that person?

I went on my first official date on my 16th birthday, 18 August 1981, just over 35 years ago.  We went to see the movie Endless Love and out to eat somewhere.  Yes, I went out on another date with that person.  Just over three years later, I ended up marrying him.  We will soon have our 32nd wedding anniversary.

Please add the link to your 19-Somethin’ post in the comment section or to the linky on the challenge page. Thanks!

Please be sure to read David’s 19-Somethin’ post over at Random Thoughts and Observations.

  1. Thanks for the smles…it sounds familiar to us as well…we didn’t see Endless Love—I think it was The Rocky Horror Picture show. smiles

    • You know, I never saw that show until I was 30-something years old. When we first got online, it was through AOL. Some folks that became friends were really into it. So, we rented the tape to see what the big deal was. Okay, well, that was weird. haha

Thank you for the smiles, too. Have a blessed day!
