Cutting Out
Fast forwarding to my future
Thinking of you in it is futile
Icy coldness glitters within you
Your touch leaves me wanting cover.
Nothing fills your wandering eyes
Or your esurient, feral soul
Your microlithic heart, sharp,
Cuts out all hope of love forever.
No more breath will be wasted
Exalting you to my chagrin.
I will go on to my tomorrow
Free from you, the great deceiver.

Thanks! I almost didn’t post this one. I liked my first Wordle a lot better. 🙂
Have a great day!

You’re welcome! Did you post the first one, or maybe I missed it? Hope your Monday is going good so far! 🙂

I posted it awhile back. I’ll find the link ….It was way back on August 2. Here’s the link: https://mcclendonvilla.wordpress.com/2016/08/02/1768/
Thanks. It is going great so far. I have some poem ideas started for the October challenge. I am working on scheduling the posts I’ve already written for our 19-Somthin’ challenge. I finally got them all written, just not scheduled yet. David is getting ready to record some videos for his YouTube channel, so I’ll be away from this computer for a little bit helping with that.
I hope that your Monday is going good so far, too. 🙂

This is a lovely poem. You used the words effectively to convey emotions hit by hit, I could literally feel the persona. Good job!

Thank you. 🙂
I wasn’t so sure about this one. I started not to post it. It didn’t come together nearly as easily as my first Wordle did.
Thank you again. Have a wonderful day. 🙂

Nine of my wordles’ come easily, that is why I love this challenge so much. It is great “meeting” you.

Thank you. 🙂
Being unfamiliar with the word, I hoped putting the “ic” wouldn’t somehow change its meaning.
I appreciate your encouragement and kind comment very much. Have a blessed day. 🙂

Thank you! Sometimes these are very much a challenge for me. I look at the words and absolutely nothing happens in my mind. I have to think about them for awhile. Sometimes, I will eventually get a spark of what to write. Other times, well nothing happens. It is fun trying. I look forward to seeing what you come up with. 🙂
Have a great day!
