I am happy for our oldest daughter.  After years of being the only one in our family not knowing his/her blood type, she was able to get it typed at the blood mobile today.  She is O+ like me and her sister.  So, the genders are divided on yet another point.  All three males in our family are A+.   Her happiness makes me happy.  Finally knowing her blood type makes me happy, too.

Please read David’s August Happiness Challenge post over at Random Thoughts and Observations.

Please also visit our hostess Sam over at One Gal’s Musings.

Thanks!

    • Cool. Twinsies. haha

I think we found out my blood type when I was pregnant the firs time, the same time we found out that my MMR shot from childhood was ineffective and I was not immune to the measles. I had to be re-vaccinated after I had the baby. It was a good thing, too, as a measles outbreak happened in our county during my second pregnancy. Did your MMR vaccine from childhood work for you?
      Have a great day!

yep…all is good…I had to get a new MMR vaccine to enter back into college…yep…they claim after 40 something years, one has to get a new one…whatever…I did it and I am fine, lol.

        • I was 20 when I had to get a new one. They gave it to me shortly after giving birth, before I left the hospital. Evidently I went my entire childhood without immunity even though I had the shot when I was supposed to have it. No fair. 🙂 I always thought that immunity was supposed to be for life once the whole series was given. Maggie says she’s going to have to get a round of shots, too, for being a school teacher. I’m glad that you are fine. It would be my luck if I got the shot now I’d get the measles, too. haha
