McClendon Family, 1 June 2014 ©2014 Suzanne G. McClendon
This family photograph was taken on the day that our youngest son left for the US Marine Corps. It is one of my favorite photographs, but also one holding great sadness for this mama-heart. I am no good at letting go.

About Suzanne Gunter McClendon
I am a South Carolina native, but have been living on the Texas Gulf Coast for 14 years now. David and I have been married for 34 years. Our children are grown. Some are here at home, others are out in the big world doing their "thing". I enjoy genealogy, reading, writing, photography, digital art, fiber arts, cooking and much, much more.
What a great photo, smiles.

Thanks, Linda. I nearly kill myself every time I do these. I set the timer and have to run to get into place, without tripping over the tripod. Running is not a thing a 50 year old off balance chic needs to be doing. 🙂
