McClendon Family, 1 June 2014 ©2014 Suzanne G. McClendon

This family photograph was taken on the day that our youngest son left for the US Marine Corps.  It is one of my favorite photographs, but also one holding great sadness for this mama-heart. I am no good at letting go.

About Suzanne Gunter McClendon

I am a South Carolina native, but have been living on the Texas Gulf Coast for 17 years now. David and I have been married for almost 37 years. Our children are grown. One is here at home, others are out in the big world doing their "thing". I enjoy genealogy, reading, writing, photography, digital art, fiber arts, cooking and much, much more.
