My Irish heritage makes me very happy.  The Irish people have gone through so much over the centuries at the hands of others, but they have held tough through it all.  While Ireland, the land, may have been “conquered”, the spirit of its people has not.  It will make me happy to live long enough to see a fully united Ireland.

For each petal on the shamrock.
This brings a wish your way
Good health, good luck, and happiness
For today and every day.

26 + 6 = 1!  Éirinn go Brách!

Please read David’s August Happiness Challenge post over at Random Thoughts and Observations.

Please also visit our hostess Sam over at One Gal’s Musings.

Thanks!

My husband is Irish and has a temper and gets along with people (let’s just say, that man will talk to a tree, ok?) As for me, I am Croatian with a temper and don’t play nice with people (at least that is what was written on my report cards growing up, lol). It makes for a very interesting marriage, to say the least, LOL. (and if your wondering, our son has both of our temperments, probably leans towards mine, LOLOL)
