Here are my answers:
1. I prefer winter to summer. I do not like being hot at all. If I am cold, I can put on more clothes or blankets, but if I’m too hot…well, there’s only so much I’m allowed to take off and not get arrested. I think what a person can get away with wearing/not wearing depends on how old and what size a person is and which cop is doing the deciding. . I would be in the “My eyes! My eyes!” and big ticket category, maybe even under the jailhouse. I prefer cool to cold weather and we just don’t really get that here.
2. Leaving home behind was much harder than I expected. Actually, the leaving itself wasn’t so hard, but the staying gone, in some ways, has become almost unbearable.
3. One way that I relax is_____________. I don’t relax anymore. I am always on guard, it seems.
4. Eating always makes me sneeze. There is evidently a component common to almost all foods that makes me sneeze. We haven’t been able to pin it down. There are foods that I have definite allergies to and they stop my breathing or squeeze my throat and other things. But, no matter what I eat, I end up sneezing.

It is very annoying, but thankfully, it isn’t painful. I think that I have determined that I am just allergic to air and everything it touches, except for wasps. haha Thanks for stopping by. Have a blessed day.

Do you get much of a winter on the TX Gulf Coast? We don’t on FL’s Space Coast. I actually prefer spring and autumn, but my husband suffers from Raynaud’s disease, so he can’t cope with cold weather.
When we moved here, I started suffering chronic allergy symptoms, so went to a specialist and told her that around Christmas I was okay, but the rest of the time I lived on antihistamines .. she got a ‘yeah right’ look and gave me a prick test … I’ve got mega allergies to all airborne pollen and dust mites – translation, here, in FL, I suffer from pollen mid January to December. I am now getting allergy shots and they seem to be helping.

No, we don’t get much of a winter at all. Sometimes it gets into the 30s, but mostly it is warmer than that. I know one Christmas Eve was 89 degrees! That ought to be against the law. haha
I’m sorry that you deal with allergies, too. I’m glad that you’re able to get some relief from them. It’s the same here, non-stop allergens. My eyes itch and burn all spring long and I am congested pretty much all year, some points worse than others. I wonder why your allergist didn’t believe you? That had to be pretty irritating.

If you aren’t under medical care – or even if you are, and they’ve prescribed Claritin, Kirkland’s Allerclear is a generic Claritin and way less expensive. And it works, at least for me and my family.

We get ours through Amazon, but my sister gets hers at her local pharmacy. Actually, her pharmacist is the one who first mentioned she should get those pills, when she was forced to quit her job due to health issues – and lost her health insurance… she’ been taking Claritin and paying $20 co-pay, but obviously still needed the medication, but couldn’t afford it… imagine her surprise to be able to get a generic that lasted almost a year for less than she’d been paying in her monthly co-pay!

In the past, I have had adverse reactions even to allergy medications, though right now I can’t remember which one it was. It all goes back to me being allergic to air, I think. haha It would be worth it to see if this med that you suggested would work for us, too. I’m just about willing to risk swelling up like a blow fish if it would make my eyes stop driving me mad. 🙂

A steady not too hot, not too cold temp would be great. It never gets cold here really. A little cool, but not cold.
